ON BEING ON

A certain avalanche speed is required for perfect tumble,
where I am enough enough not to get in my own way, race against the lake instead of doing the right thing. I saw you eating a burrito mediano, walking down the street, taking monster bites out of monster steps. "Absurdity Instinct" - could be a business school term - identify the funny-bone, expose it to the tumults of one heart's summer storm.

Dear city, swallow me already.

I am so very, very impatient. So very, very lazy. But also young, ripe, and mostly delicious. I've said a lot of things and I've said them a lot of times, get one reaction then try it out again. The key is that the context must always be new-for-true, no overlap, no double agents, though we tend to extend all threads, taut to the point of breaking.
