Well, we were miserable in the concrete
and the heat
so we packed up and chased our dreams.....

the days, though still quite cold,
(And I'm not talking California Cold,
which I'd be grateful for
these midwest eighteen degree days,
I'd use them to walk the dog!)
are getting longer, thank god.
That extra minute of sunlight is surprisingly everything.
